Default Question about modding

hi,

i got a question about modding a weapon.

I got this offhand (CC q10 water) and i'm thinking of selling it (but i'm not sure).
but it's not modded yet. I know that the mods for a 20/20 offhand costs 30-35k.

so here's my question: is it worth modding that offhand? Will i get more money (refund for mods + extra) for it, if I mod it or not?

thx

If you wanted to mod it, I would go no further than 20/10 to be honest using a 10%HSR inscription and the HCT focus core, not worth doing much more than that due to final selling price not recovering any more investment..

Personally, I would prefer to buy an unmodded weapon and then mod it myself, let alone paying more for the fact it's already modded...

Weapon prices are based on skin and requirement only. Modding a weapon you intend to sell is throwing away gold. You can get more for the good mods as a separate sale.

NEVER mod a weapon you are not going to use unless you intend to gift it to someone. Don't dye it either.

There are 2 main problems with modding a weapon to sell it:

1. As said above, the value of a weapon is based mostly on it's skin and requirement. You very seldom fully recover the expense of any mods you add. The best you can hope for is to get the cost of the mods back.

2. Regardless of what mods you think are "normal" or "best", the mods you put on a weapon may not be what the buyer wants.

mods on a weapon only make it easier to sell if it already has something someone wants. most people will not pay extra for mods.
